Gargoyles Fanfiction

Like I say in my introduction to my site, I write fanfic for my favorite shows in the hopes of getting the characters out of my head, and Gargoyles has got to be my all-time favorite television show...

Glorified Waterspouts

Glorified Waterspouts is my origional Gargoyles fanfiction that I started in the sixth or seventh grade. The idea behind it was to more or less write Banshea and my other characters into the show. It requires a bit of background information that most people don't have, like the abilities of the characters, where they're from, and so on. The character's section was put in for this purpose. ;)

Time Quest

Time Quest is the sequel to Glorified Watespouts. It pulls in things that aren't purely Gargoyles, like Elfquest, for example. And it has characters that aren't my own creation, like the MiniClanners. And parts are being co-written by Sairi, which gets very interesting since we've got the same story told from two different points of veiw. You see, Dreamspur went to the 16th century, then the first century, THEN the eleventh century; Banshea went to the eleventh century, THEN the sixteenth century, THEN the first century. It's also much more episodic, each part of the story becoming its own story, kinda sorta almost we're trying. And here I would like to thank Sairi for co-writing and listening to my babble until it made some sense, Sim for getting things completely and utterly wrong but giving me some great ideas in the process, and all the clanners. Oh, and Kyff for the really funny bit about waving feilds of Pixi Stix. And Wendy and Richard Pini for creating Elfquest. *sobs* I couldn't be doing this without you!

The As-Yet Nameless Story Called "The Next Generation" Until I Get a Better Title for It

This sequel to Time Quest is kinda weird to say the least. It takes place in the future, even the prologue. Only parts of it are written, and the plot isn't even that clear past a certain point. It all started with Sairi's idle pondering: "What if Banshea recognized Blitz?" (Recognition being "the union of two souls to give life and breath to a third" (Winnowill, Elfquest, Seige at Blue Mountain #6).) And then very interesting things happen with Banshea's daughter and the discovery of such by Venite, an elf who really has it out for Banshea. The story gets rather dark and includes at least one death and one suicide attempt... I'm trying to put off writing it until I finish Time Quest.

Character Guide

Okay, so there's a lot to the characters in my story that isn't all that clear. Or, at any rate, I'm not sure if it's clear or not since I or someone else put the characters together before the story was written and I can't really tell what needs explaining. So I'll just explain the most important points here!

Pandora's Key

I sat down one day at my computer to write one something like what I did in my English class with my terrific teacher in the seventh grade. I had been writing nothing but Gargoyles fanfiction, and I wanted to prove to myself that I could still come up with something completely origional. I wrote the story of Karen, a frustrated teenager who doesn't want to be where she is. One day she finds this old key, and from there the story becomes remarkably similar to The Indian in the Cupboard... That is, until Karen stumbles into the world of Gargoyles. I completely failed to keep Gargs out of it, but I did wind up with a story that at least one person in the universe likes. And Kyffin thwacked me with his innumerable spoons until I managed to write past where Gabriel asks why there are cherries stuck to Karen's door... And he gave me more ideas for where to go next. Thanks, Kyff!
